Andrew Erickson

Bar Manager / Spirits Alchemist

A career-long hospitality professional, Andrew Erickson has accrued over 15 years of restaurant and bar experience. Now at Bestia Mare, Erickson is responsible for drink development, staff liquor education, and training new bartenders at Franklin, TN's newest hotspot. 

Erickson’s passion for the industry began working at an ice cream counter as a teen, where he immediately fell in love with the creativity and social aspect of the job which jumpstarted his desire to pursue a career in hospitality. He then made his way onto the restaurant scene serving tables, before quickly realizing that behind the bar is where he was meant to be. Since then, he’s been honing his craft as a creative cocktail force at many of Nashville’s craft cocktail institutions and “it” destinations, including positions as lead bartender and bar manager at Fable, The Palm, L27 Rooftop and more, before joining chef Frank Pullara as a bartender at Culaccino in Downtown Franklin. He is also no stranger to the city’s bar competition circuit, winning the Nashville Lifestyles Bartender Bash In both 2019 and 2021 and The Bobby Hotel Garage Bar Inaugural Cocktail Contest In 2021. Erickson's knowledge of the cocktail world has also led him to be featured in high-profile industry publications like Imbibe, VinePair, and Whisky Advocate. 

Erickson has established himself as an industry leader and is excited to bring his knowledge and skill to Bestia Mare as head bartender. His craft concoctions on the menu are inspired by unique, rotating ingredients bespoke to each season and feature housemade juices, syrups, infused spices, and more, lending the cocktail list to be one to rival. 

When he’s not pairing creating new cocktails, he enjoys playing golf, listening to vinyl records, and trying out new dishes in the kitchen.
